Done legs and Abs yesterday, hard but compared to my normal leg routine the GVT felt inadequate. Probably best done super set squats with hamstring curls and calf raises x 10. Overall I've felt more wear on the knees and shoulders in the past week and less use of the muscle. My old shoulder cuff injury has popped back up. I'm a gardener so I pull a lot of machine cords and combined with the shoulder workout I've damaged it again..... Will stick with 4 sets of 8 in future. I had to give GVT a try but it is not for me.
