Stacking with Alphamine is a great idea IMO, as is dropping your dextrose and maltodextrin in you pwo shake. People don't realize whey is insulinogenic in its own right, although you may want to consider adding glutamine gram for gram to replace the dextrose/maltodextrin you were getting.
Oftern overlooked, but glutamine raises insulin on a gram for gram basis almost as much as sugar!!
