I'm on Lean Xtreme (to try and get my cortisol down) and DCP (to try and suppress my appetite). DCP is failing in what I wanted it for but LX appears to be working. When I was out of MPS I felt my joints aching which can be a side effect with lowered cortisol. I got my MPS and I've had to up my dose to 5/5/5 on heavy weights days and it's doing the job, reducing DOMS and the joint aches from LX have gone
I don't want to be on 5/5/5 because it gets expensive but as it works I need to decide what's important. MPS will be staying in my cupboard for a while yet even if something else has to go.
It does that. I am a week off it now. During that time I have returned to a normal diet from CKD. Added a natural anabolic and have been eating carbs at will. I struggled to demonstrate a lunge in correct form to a client earlier due to the DOMS in my hamstrings.
I literally felt like I didn't want to get out of my bed 3 mornings this week....it really hits home how good this is.
To tops things off, I can rep less strict form wide pull ups above maintenanc than I could two weeks ago running on empty. It was a planned break though, so can't complain too much, taken steps to make sure I am covered for the beginning of June when I start cutting again.
It's definitely geared up for a kcal deficit, I honestly don't think I could face coming off MPS having been bulking haha
