I knew the prototype I was running was anti-inflammatory. What I didn't expect was just how much moreso the finished product would be. Credit here goes to MASS, in sourcing top shelf actives..

With respect to XFA's purported inflammatory action, you ask an excellent question...

Although the original premise was that XFA was an all around pro-inflammatory, a closer look reveals otherwise. The study done at Baylor in 2006 elucidated that increased arachidonic acid levels are actually associated with reduced pro-inflammatory IL-6, IL-1 and TNF beta cytokines.[1] The combination may result in reduced systemic* inflammation.

(2006). "Relationship of plasma polyunsaturated fatty acids to circulating inflammatory markers". The Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism 91 (2): 439–46.doi:10.1210/jc.2005-1303PMID 16234304.

*I'm no scientist, but I am a good guesser... :-) . The key to success with XF/AA seems to be localized vs. systemic expression of these pro-inflammatory markers. In other words, by increasing the inflammatory response in muscle you reap the benefits of greater re-molding. Systemically, you aren't hamstrung by chronic inflammation which among other things, underlies virtually all disease.

Big difference... :-)
