Scooby Doo on Liver function improves after tea and coffee use

Given the potential link to caffeine what do people think is causing the improved liver function?

I think it pretty much explains it in the article? It's for mice anyway so I don't find it very exciting.

 

caffeine stimulates the metabolization of lipids stored in liver cells and decreased the fatty liver of mice that were fed a high-fat diet.
