Do you also do back squats? I'm wondering if it helps you squat in case injuries now prevent you squatting.
I do squats on a plate-loaded machine, leg presses, and hack squats..but nothing using a free bar. The nature of my injury leaves my lower back very unstable with the nerve signal vulnerable to cutting out unexpectedly. If my legs were to go out with 300 lbs piled on my back, I would be in for a very bad time.
