Scooby Doo on Cardiotryx Samples

I got over my stomach bug quicker than I thought I would.

 

I did some spinning on Thursday, Friday I hit the weights and felt great probably due to all the re-feeding I was doing :D .

Saturday morning I was due to do a 55/60k bike ride with plenty of climbing (I can't avoid hills where I live) which would normally take me around two hours. I felt a little bit sore from Friday but not as bad as I usually do on a Saturday.

Popped my six pills and an hour later I felt a slight buzz (Probably the rhodiola which does that to me as I learned from TQ). As soon as I got into the ride I couldn't get past the soreness, I wasn't able to push through as I normally can and I ended up cutting short my ride doing a pathetic 24.9k in 58 minutes. It was the worst ride of my life.

I'm not going to call Cardiotryx another load of bollocks just yet, I've got one dose left and will give it a go hopefully this week but it may have to wait until next week.

 

I'm wondering if the benefits are more pronounced if you cardio fitness isn't great? Just a thought, I'm 40 years old and my VO2 max using a basic way to measure it consistently comes in between 62-65 (last measurement was 64) which is excellent for anyone let alone a 40 year old.
