If your cutting or even bulking do you feel its more beneficial to use your carb allowance around pre and postworkout or spead it out throughout the day, in terms of cutting this could help stop cheating or slipping from your diet. Any thoughts ?
Carb allowance should always be restricted to within an hour after waking, 90-180 minutes pre-workout and within 1-3 hours post-workout (consumed in one sitting) to maintain adequate insulin sensitivity regardless of your goals. Conventional belief of having carbs every 2-3 hours to curb cravings is so far the wrong way it's more likely to have the opposite effect. By having carbs more frequently you will obviously produce insulin more frequently and thus most likely desensitize it's receptors somewhat. The more desensitized your insulin receptors are the more insulin you will need to create the same response therefore the more carbs/food you will need to create this insulin response therefore resulting in more hunger.
This is another reason why small periods of fasting are most beneficial for hormone management.
For everyone?
ITT: everyone reacts the same way to food intake irrespective of genetics and individual preference.
