many many years before, before i was born,
there were much threes, animals, farms etc...life was really different.
now the life here is become more a 'city life', everything needs to go fast,...
almost all the farms and large area's of green & woods are throw down or away to build some other stuff,
malls for example & buildings, appartement blocks, GYMS :-p
See here, or particularly where I live, I have in-laws who have a farm, and there are dogs ALL OVER! Also I have a couple of friends, who have dogs as guard dogs etc.
Each to their own I guess!
